So, remember last weekend’s soggy Friday? Not this time. The National Weather Service has nothing but sun on the board from Philly to Cape May. The catch is the cold: Friday night dips into the 30s inland, with patchy frost by Saturday morning.
It’s also the last full weekend before Halloween, which means parades, pumpkin glows and trick-or-treat events on just about every Main Street in the region. We confirmed 124 things to do Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 25, across South Jersey, Philadelphia, Delaware County and New Castle County. Here’s the rundown.
Weekend Weather at a Glance
National Weather Service point forecasts issued Wed., Oct. 21, at 4:09 p.m. Check for updates before you go.

What to wear / plan around: No rain is in the forecast anywhere, so you won’t need a rain date. Dress for the cold, though. Friday-night haunts, hayrides and ghost tours will feel like upper 30s inland, and patchy frost is possible early Saturday in Media, Cherry Hill, Toms River and Vineland/Millville. Bring gloves and a blanket. The shore runs about 5 to 7 degrees cooler than inland, with a northeast breeze on Friday. Sunday is the warmest day. Sunrise Saturday in Philly is 7:21 a.m. and sunset is 6:06 p.m.
