If you were refreshing your county clerk’s website late into the night, same. Here’s everything on the ballot in South Jersey, all in one place, from the U.S. Senate down to your school board.
South Jersey voters cast ballots Tuesday, Nov. 3, for U.S. Senate, three House seats, county commissioner boards, dozens of municipal races and school board seats across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. All results below are unofficial until certified by each county, and many local races are still being counted. We’ll keep updating this page as towns report.
Last updated: 4:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4

So, what do the results show so far?
The headline is the 2nd District. Van Drew, who won the seat by nearly 17 points in 2024, conceded to Mullock Tuesday night, which would leave Rep. Chris Smith as the only Republican in New Jersey’s House delegation. Booker, Norcross and Conaway all won re-election, according to The Associated Press.
At the county level, early Gloucester County returns showed the three Democratic incumbents well ahead, though those numbers came in early and leaned toward mail-in ballots. Most other county, town and school board races were still being tallied overnight.
Those are the races that touch your property taxes, your roads and your kids’ schools. Congress gets the headlines. Your township committee gets your trash pickup schedule, and your school board gets your kids’ curriculum.

Results are unofficial until each county certifies them, and mail-in and provisional ballots can still change close races. For the official numbers, check your county clerk or the New Jersey Division of Elections.
