One half of the Girlies’ Super Bowl is almost over as Miss Utah’s Teen, Elle Anderson was crowned Miss America’s Teen 2027. This is the first time Utah’s teen is being crowned.
Earlier in the evening, the Top 11 were announced and soon recompiled. Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Oregon, Minnesota, Hawaii, New York, North Carolina, Utah, New Hampshire and South Carolina competed again in all phases of competition.
Their energy was felt. It really made the judges Top 5 job hard.
Eventually it had to be called, and the Top 5 rounded out to be Miss Mississippi’s Teen, Madalyn Sullivan; Miss South Carolina’s Teen, Logan Wells; Miss Texas’ Teen, Zoe Zogleman; Miss Minnesota’s Teen, Natalia Yurecko; Miss Utah’s Teen, Elle Anderson.
Each Top 5 finalist answered a final onstage question about in relation to the five points of the crown: style, service, scholarship, sisterhood, and success.
Earlier in the week, Anderson took home the Kawai Pianos Preliminary Talent award for violin and the Portia and Scarlett Preliminary Evening Gown award.
